Busch Gardens

Busch Gardens are on the top of Tampa, Florida
Attractions list.

While Tampa's best amusement park isn't as famous as
the ones up the road in Orlando, Busch Gardens in Tampa,
Florida, is a quieter amusement park, with lots of excellent
roller coasters.

It has an Africa theme, and besides rides includes animals
and even a walking safari.  It's a great way to spend a day
with kids.
The Beaches!

Tampa, like the rest of Florida's Gulf Coast communities, has beautiful white sand beaches,
soft to the feet and body.  Beaches dot the whole coastline around the city and are also found
deeper in Tampa Bay, where the waters are calmer and more protected than the ones right on
the Gulf.  Whether you're looking for a family beach, a singles beach, or a beach with lots of
sports and activity, you'll find one in Tampa.

Sports

With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Devil Rays, and the Lightning, you'll find plenty of action
going on regardless of the season. Tampa sports draw visitors from all over central and north
Florida.

Recreation

Tampa has great deep sea fishing, and you can charter boats from several different marinas in
the city.
But it's also close by the Florida Everglades, making it
easy to go into the swamps for a visit to a completely
different world.

And, of course, there are all the best watersports, from
scuba diving to parasailing.
Museums in Tampa

Did you know Tampa has a Salvador Dali museum?  It does, and plenty of other museums
besides for art, history, science, and children. Whether your tastes run to antebellum
architecture or to Imax shows, local art by the Highwaymen and their students or international
art and archaeological treasures, you'll find them here in Tampa.

Often called the Tampa Aquarium, the Florida
plants and animals and also hosts some truly
unique exhibitions.

Or you can wander for an afternoon through
Hyde Park, a little community so unique in
architectural beauty that Disney hoped to
duplicate it (he couldn't).

  Cypress Gardens, a thoroughly unique
theme park with an antebellu feel, is also
within easy driving distance.
