Florida Strawberry Festival Attractions
Food, Music, Arts and Crafts, Contests.....

So what attractions Florida Strawberry Festival has to offer?

The festival is a collection of family-friendly events that combines the excitement and
allure of arts and crafts, livestock presentations, horticulture, fine arts, live
entertainment, and of course – amusement park-style rides. The Mighty Bluegrass
Show's Carnival provides more than 60 attractions scattered about the Midway.
Younger guests of the festival may also enjoy their very own
Strawberry Patch Kiddy Corral.

Contests are the rage at the Florida Strawberry Festival, such as
the prizes awarded to babies who highlight the best-decorated
diaper.

If you dare – you may test your might at the Shortcake-Eating
Contest.

The festival also allows school-age children to exhibit their
creative side through art and photography, as shoebox floats are
placed on display.
The Festival parade features Plant City's "Person of the Year" award recipient, whereas a beauty pageant
designates one lucky gal as the festival's "Strawberry Queen."

Overall, both children and adults are able to enjoy an exciting time at the festival, as well as absorb the
educational aspect of the festivities, as the agricultural and horticulture displays provide the perfect
opportunity to experience hands-on and live demonstrations. Many livestock activities are also held in line
with local 4-H clubs.

So what is the yummiest Festival Attraction?

When visiting the Festival, you will surely encounter an assortment of delicious strawberry-infused treats,
including sundaes, milkshakes, shortcake, cobbler, and ice cream.  Before retiring for the day, many
patrons purchase a flat or quart of strawberries to take home. The festival also supplies strawberry plants
for those who wish to cultivate their own juicy berries.  Enjoy :)
