St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum

This historical landmark of the area - St. Augustine
Lighthouse & Museum is a great place to start your
adventures.

You can climb to the top of the famous lighthouse,
view some very interesting pieces of history,
and learn about the history of the museum,
lighthouse, and surrounding areas. There is also
an on site gift shop where you can purchase
memorable items to take home.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not!

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Is a very popular museum, recommended for visitors of all ages.  You will find
nearly one thousand various exhibits there that will shock and humor you all at once!

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! is fun place to visit and it is one of our favorite St. Augustine attractions.
Some of the objects exhibited here are:
a mummified cat, a 1/12 scale model of the
original Ferris wheel made out of Erector
sets, and life and death masks of famous
celebrities (including Abe Lincoln).

These items were collected from all over the
world and brought to one location, the oldest
and most interesting of all the Odditoriums.

This particular museum is actually located in
one of the oldest mansions in the city –
Castle Warden, built in 1887 by millionaire
William Warden as a winter home.
The architecture alone adds to the intense look and feel of the place and you just can't pass it by without
going in.
